Shipping
Orders can be placed at Essence by Ellie 7 days per week 24 hours per day. We ship all orders Monday through to Friday, except of holidays.
Our orders are process in the order of which they are received and shipped via USPS from Poughkeepsie, New York. Transit time is dependent on state however, typically delivery time is within 2-4 business days. Please be aware that there may be delays within USPS during busy holiday seasons, which will be out of Essence by Ellie's control.
Processing Time
Orders are process within 2-4 business days from the time of purchase, as candles are done to order.
Once orders are shipped they typically arrive within 2-4 business days. The ship date is not included in USPS transit time.
During holidays our processing time may extend due to high volume of orders which brings us to 5-8 business days.
Shipping Rates
USPS shipping rates are based on the shipping address and weight of the order. USPS Priority Mail transit time may vary per state but typically delivers within 1-3 business days. However, they may experience delays during holidays which are out of our control.
With FPO and APO orders, please anticipate a delay as shipping is a joint effort between USPS and MPS (military postal service).
PLEASE NOTE: Essence by Ellie is not responsible for packages lost, stolen or damaged during transit. However, we will work with you to replace your items. contact us atinfo@essencebyellie.com.
Transit
If a shipping address is incorrect, you can intercept the package with USPS if eligible. Please be aware that customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with redirecting a package or if package was returned to sender. Please contact USPS for additional information.
Summer Orders
Due to sustainability of your candles during the hotter months (June-September) we only ship orders Mondays to Wednesday to avoid packages sustaining heat damage or melting over the weekend. Durning these months we ask that you track your package and someone is readily available to receive you package to avoid the item being left in your mailbox.
